Kevin Dwyer is 38 living in NYC.  He is planning on running the marathon despite the fact that running bores him, he has trouble waking up in the morning and doesn’t have full lung capacity.  Is he an idiot? Can he really do it?  Follow him throughout his training and see if this fool actually completes 26.2 miles on November 6, 2011.

    Hey, Kevin!

I’m planning on running my first marathon in Sevilla, Spain this February. I’m running for my kids, two of which happen to have CF. I’ll be thinking of you ~ best of luck in NYC. If you get hooked, let me know. I hear Madrid is an awesome one.

Good luck today! I am a 40 yo person with CF who had a double lng transplant 5 years ago. I don’t know how you do it, but are inspiring me to run more…I can barely run a very slow 1/4 of a mile on the treadmill. I’ll be watching and cheering you on!

Watched your video, it was very touching. Your fiancee said something that got my attention, miracles do happen, yes they do. Please do yourself a favor, get a book called “Jesus Heals Your Sickness Today.” By Guillermo Maldonado. I don’t care what your religious affiliation is, it’s only 217 pages, it could change your life, it did mine. I believe there is no need to feel that there is looming doom coming in your life and especially the fact that you have a fiancee to share the rest of your life with.
